A while back we highlighted reports of empty shop shelves as people panicked and stocked up with all that they could purchase. Well, this article just goes to show to which level things have progressed in the meantime.
After the shock of losing their mother, the children discovered that instead of those entering the vehicle rendering first aid, the groceries were plundered.
So the time has come where food has just as much value, if not more, than money.
Well in West Virginia (and reported in eight other counties) there is, like in other parts of the US, only here the water is polluted from a chemical spill. An then guess what happened…you guessed right, people ran to the stores to stock up on bottled water. And then the fighting started!
A typical apocalyptic scenario: No supply and then store shelves empty. People then turn on each other, even friends and family. If you are not already in one of the affected areas, what would you do? Would you be prepared?

Following on from our previously highlighted articles about bans and restrictions on self-sufficency, we discovered a story which turned the thumb-screw a bit more.
Preppers in LA found growing-their own and/or producing their own electricity where paid a visit from SWAT teams. Any preppers out there in other US staes or different countries for that matter who are experiencing the same procedure feel free to comment on this post.
Most people today think nothing of opening their doors to their homes in your typical suburban neighborhood when the doorbell rings or there is a knock at the door. People assume it’s a neighbor, or a package delivery, etc, etc. While it is still prudent to make sure you know who is at the front door before you open it; post apocalypse it takes on a whole different outlook.
In a post apocalyptic world; should there come a knock on your front door, of wherever you are calling home, do not answer it. Why; similar to what happens in countries where wars are a common occurrance, once someone hears a homeowner respond to the knock from the other side of the door; they send some rapidly fired bullets through the door injuring or killing the occupant. Then they proceed to break in and take control of the home.
